Privacy policy

In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and embeds nothing from third-party servers. There is no form and no account. The data that arises is the technically necessary server data when a page is requested and the details you send us yourself by email.
Controller
Regletto is responsible for this website and can be reached at contact@regletto.com.
Hosting and server data
regletto.com is operated at Cloudflare, as is the address downloads.regletto.com, where the installation files are kept. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, USA, represented in the EU by Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Munich.
On every request, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the page you come from, browser and operating system details, and the response code. Only this allows the site to be delivered, protected against abuse and operated reliably. Regletto itself does not evaluate this data and does not combine it with anything.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning web presence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement exists with Cloudflare. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; for the transfer to the USA there is therefore an adequacy decision of the European Commission. How long Cloudflare keeps the server data is governed by its privacy policy.
Downloads
A click on a download button takes you from regletto.com on to downloads.regletto.com. When the file is loaded, your IP address is processed by Cloudflare as described above. Nothing is loaded from there before the click.
Storage in the browser
When you choose the light or dark mode, your browser remembers this choice locally (localStorage, entry rg-mode), so that the site looks the way you set it the next time you visit. It likewise remembers the language of the website that you choose in the language menu, German or English (entry rg-lang), so that the site appears in that language the next time you visit. The entries do not leave your browser, are never sent to a server, are not cookies and serve only these two purposes (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Contact by email
When you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to answer it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, where a contract is involved point (b)). We delete them as soon as the request is dealt with and no statutory retention obligation applies.
Links to other sites
The site links to our Discord server. These links are ordinary references: you only leave regletto.com when you click them, and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). To exercise them, write to contact@regletto.com.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for your place of residence (Art. 77 GDPR).
